Golden Horse Minerals (ASX:GHM) confirmed high-grade mineralization at depth at the Hopes Hill North deposit, within its Southern Cross project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The first deep reverse circulation hole at the deposit returned "exceptional" results, including 12 meters at 7 grams per tonne grade of gold from 278 meters, including five meters at nearly 15 g/t grade of gold from 282 meters, the filing said.
Additionally, drilling below and near the Hopes Hill pit delivered further high-grade results.
One diamond rig and two reverse circulation rigs are on-site, with a fourth rig expected to arrive soon, per the filing.
Shares rose 2% in morning trade on Thursday.
