GMO Internet (TYO:9449) said its board agreed to submit a shelf registration statement for stock acquisition right certificates as part of its takeover defense policy, according to a Tuesday release.
The Japanese internet service company said that the statement replaces the shelf registration statement expiring Aug. 5, 2026, and will cover two years from Aug. 6, 2026, through Aug. 5, 2028.
The planned issue amount will be 130 million yen, including the issue price of the stock acquisition rights and the amount payable upon their exercise.
