GMO Internet (TYO:4784) board approved a 10.1 billion yen deal to acquire up to 64 NVIDIA B300 GPU servers from US-based chipmaker NVIDIA Corporation, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
The Japanese internet service company said that the deal includes ancillary equipment, and the purchases help expand its capacity for GMO GPU cloud services driven by demand for the service.
The acquisition is planned in stages starting in January 2027.
