Get Nice Says Cyberattack Temporarily Disrupted Trading Services

Get Nice (HKG:0064) said a cyberattack temporarily disrupted the electronic trading systems of its securities and futures subsidiaries, according to a Wednesday filing.

The company said the attack occurred on the evening of July 19, temporarily interrupting electronic trading services and stock withdrawals.

The electronic trading system of Get Nice Securities resumed operations at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, while services at Get Nice Futures will resume as soon as practicable.

Get Nice said it engaged a cybersecurity firm to investigate the incident and strengthen its network security measures.

It added there is currently no evidence that any information has been misused and expects no material impact on the group's operations or financial performance.
