Gentex (GNTX) is set to host its 2026 Investor Day on Aug. 27 in Zeeland, Michigan, where management is expected to outline long-term growth drivers and an updated capital allocation approach, UBS Securities said in a research note Thursday.
Mirror mix, led by increased penetration of Full Display Mirror and Driver Monitoring System content, will remain the key growth driver until large-area dimmable devices reach scale. The investment firm said it also expects updates on dimmable device manufacturing progress, the company's electronic contract manufacturing push and regionalization plans in China and Morocco.
On capital returns, the firm will look for a more formal buyback framework and any signal on a dividend increase tied to record GAAP net income. Gentex has about 31 million shares remaining under its existing buyback authorization, according to the note.
UBS does not expect updates to 2026 or 2027 guidance and does not see the event as a near-term catalyst for shares, though it could reinforce the longer-term growth story.
UBS has a neutral rating and a $25 price target on the company's stock.
