Generali Unveils EUR300 Million Investment Program for Europe's SMEs

Assicurazioni Generali (G.MI) launched a 300 million-euro investment program to support small- and medium-sized enterprises in Europe, with a particular focus on Italy, France, and Germany.

The initiative, dubbed the Europe Sovereignty Program, will have a diversified approach across the main asset classes, combining equity and debt instruments, the Italian insurer said Monday.

Under the program, which will be structured as a fund of funds, Generali's asset management arm will handle private and infrastructure equity and direct lending. Sycomore, on the other hand, will be responsible for listed equity markets.
