General Mills Removes Certified Colors From US Cereals

General Mills (GIS) said Wednesday that it has removed certified colors from all of its US cereal products.

The transition means that 90% of the company's US retail portfolio no longer contains certified colors, the company said.

The company expects to remove certified colors from its remaining U.S. retail products, including fruit snacks and baking products, by the end of 2027, General Mills said.

Shares of the company were up 1% in Wednesday trading.

Spyre Therapeutics (SYRE) said its experimental rheumatoid arthritis drug SPY072 failed to meet the company's internal performance threshold needed to justify further stand-alone development, prompting the halt of its monotherapy RA program.The drug delivered statistically significant improvements over placebo on several efficacy measures and showed a tolerable safety profile with no drug-related serious adverse events, the company said Tuesday in a statement.Spyre said it will now evaluate SPY072 in combination regimens and in other autoimmune indications, with additional clinical readouts expected in Q4.Spyre shares fell 12% in after-hours trading.
