General Interface Solution (TPE:6456) has approved an increase in the capital expenditure budgets of its subsidiaries, according to a Wednesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.
The touch and display module maker has increased the capex by NT$3.4 billion which covers General Interface Solution (Taiwan) and GIS Technology (Vietnam).
The increase will be funded through a capital injection from the parent and is intended for improving build production capacity for new products.

Viva Goods (HKG:0933) has purchased 29.6 million shares of Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning (HKG:2331) for HK$398.4 million as an investment, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.The company said it bought the shares through open market transactions at an average price of HK$13.45 apiece.Following the transaction, Viva's stakeholding in Li Ning rose to 16.9%, with ownership of 437.2 million shares.
