GE Aerospace's (GE) joint venture CFM International has reached an agreement with aircraft lessor BBAM to supply 30 LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B spare engines for operators of Airbus A320neo and Boeing (BA) 737 MAX aircraft, BBAM said Tuesday.
The multi-year order marks BBAM's first direct engine purchase from CFM International and expands its portfolio of CFM56 and LEAP engines.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
GE Aerospace shares were up 0.2% in Tuesday trading, while Boeing was up 0.5%.
