Furukawa (TYO:5715) has completed its share repurchase program, acquiring 667,300 common shares for a total of 2.98 billion yen, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
The buyback was executed on Aug. 28, through the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Off-Auction Own Share Repurchase Trading System.
The buyback was carried out under a board resolution passed on Aug. 27, which authorized the repurchase of up to 800,700 shares for a maximum of 3.57 billion yen.
