Meteoric Resources' (ASX:MEI) Caldeira project in Brazil is expected to produce further offtakes and associated debt funding in the wake of recently disclosed European Union support for critical minerals projects in the region, Euroz Hartleys said in a Tuesday note.
Meteoric executed an amendment agreement with its joint venture partner in the Togni Group, the original vendors of the project, acquiring the full assignment of the primary tenements required to start production at Caldeira.
Meteoric submitted the installation license application for the Caldeira project in early March, with final approval from Minas Gerais state regulator FEAM expected within around six months of submission. The application represents the second stage of a three-part licensing process following the initial preliminary license award.
The investment firm retained its speculative buy rating on Meteoric Resources along with a AU$0.23 per share price target.
