Fukuda Denshi Attributable Profit Climbs in Fiscal Q1; Revenue Rises

Fukuda Denshi (TYO:6960) posted an 8.8% year-over-year increase in attributable net profit for the fiscal first quarter to 3.08 billion yen from 2.83 billion yen.

The medical equipment manufacturer's EPS was 113.97 yen, compared with 100.87 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

Net sales rose 2% to nearly 31 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 30.4 billion yen a year ago.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 17.7 billion yen, EPS of 655.13 yen, and revenue of 142 billion yen. The annual dividend is expected to stay at 230 yen per share, split evenly at 115 yen each for the interim and year-end periods.
