Fujian Haixi Pharmaceuticals (HKG:2637) obtained clinical data from the phase I and II clinical studies of HX9428 for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration.

In the phase I study, the drug demonstrated an improving trend in visual function and macular anatomical parameters.

Overall tole ratability was favorable and no dose-limiting toxicity was observed at any dose level.

In the ongoing phase II dose expansion trial, the overall efficacy trend was consistent with the results of the phase I study, with favorable overall tolerability.
