Fujian Aonong Biological Technology's (SHA:603363) sales volume of hogs in August jumped 39% to 208,200 heads from 150,100 heads a year ago, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The number of sold hogs during the month climbed 47% from 142,000 heads in July.
The agricultural and animal husbandry company's shares rose 2% at the close.

Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ) former Chief Executive Garry Crole has been banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for 10 years from performing any function involved in carrying on a financial services business as a director or responsible manager, according to a Tuesday statement by ASIC.The regulator said Crole failed to adequately respond to serious concerns about the financial advice model used by former Interprac-authorized representatives, who advised thousands of clients to invest superannuation in the now-collapsed First Guardian and Shield Master Funds.The company did not immediately respond to anemail request for comment.
