Hon Hai Precision (TPE:2317), d/b/a Foxconn, expects continued growth for the rest of 2026 as it reported year-over-year surges in second-quarter earnings and revenue on Wednesday.
Net profit attributable to the parent company's owners reached NT$60 billion in the three months, up 35% from a year earlier, while EPS rose to NT$4.27 from NT$3.19. Revenue surged 41% annually to NT$2.53 trillion.
Looking ahead, Foxconn expects third-quarter growth to be "significant" on a quarterly basis and "strong" annually, supported by the traditional peak season. High-double-digit growth rates were also projected for cloud and networking products and AI cabinet shipments.
For full-year 2026, Foxconn's outlook for strong growth remains unchanged, thanks to continued demand for AI servers and growth in consumer smart products. AI cabinet shipments are also expected to more than double from 2025.
