Electronics contract manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry (TPE:2317), also known as Foxconn, aims to achieve 100% green energy to power its production sites globally by 2040, according to its latest sustainability report released Monday.
The electronics manufacturer said green power accounts for around 68% of its total power consumption in 2025, ahead of its targeted milestone of 50% by 2030.
The company is also eyeing net-zero emissions by 2050, with solar projects at major sites in Taiwan, Vietnam and China boasting a combined installed and planned capacity of around 125.68 megawatts.
