China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has accepeted two drug registration applications by subsidiaries of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (HKG:2196, SHA:600196), according to separate disclosures filed with the Hong Kong Exchange on Friday.
The approvals cover Levosalbutamol Hydrochloride Nebuliser Solution, developed by Fosun Pharma (Xuzhou), and Dobutamine Hydrochloride Injection, developed by Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Company.
Levosalbutamol Hydrochloride Nebuliser Solution is indicated for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children aged six years and older with reversible obstructive airway disease.
Dobutamine Hydrochloride Injection is approved for the short-term supportive treatment of heart failure caused by reduced myocardial contractility.
Fosun Pharma's Hong Kong-listed shares rose 3%, while its Shanghai shares edged up 2% in early-morning trade on Monday.
