Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) upgraded the mineral resource estimate for the Johnson Range deposit in Western Australia to 2 million tonnes at 1.99 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 130,730 ounces at a 0.5 g/t grade of gold cut-off, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company reported a Johnson Range mineral resource estimate of 1.4 million tonnes at a 2.26 g/t grade of gold for 103,500 ounces at a 0.5 g/t cut-off grade in March, an earlier filing showed.
Further resource extension drilling is planned down dip, which will include diamond drilling for metallurgical test work, per the filing.
