Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) delivered an upgraded mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the British Hill deposit at its Forrestania Hub in Western Australia of 2.6 million tonnes at 1.5 grams per tonne grade of gold for 126,290 ounces at a 0.5g/t cut off, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The previous MRE for the deposit stood at 1 million tonnes at 1.66 g/t grade of gold for 54,625 ounces, an earlier filing showed.
A 100-hole drill program has been approved, and additional drilling is in progress using three reverse circulation rigs to focus on resource extension along and down-dip, per the filing.
