Focus Media Information Technology's Attributable Profit Rises 17% in H1

Focus Media Information Technology's (SHE:002027) attributable profit rose 17% to 3.13 billion yuan in the first half from 2.66 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the outdoor advertising company increased to 0.2166 yuan from 0.1845 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue declined 2.00% year over year to 5.99 billion yuan from 6.11 billion yuan.

The company's directors proposed a dividend of 0.05 yuan.
