Flex (FLEX) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire EPC Power for $4.4 billion, subject to customary adjustments, with the transaction expected to close in the Q4, the company said on Thursday.
Following the close, EPC Power will integrate into Flex's Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment ahead of Flex's planned spin-off of CPI into an independent publicly traded company in the first quarter of 2027, it said.
Founded in 2010, California-based EPC Power provides intelligent power conversion solutions for data centers and grid applications, featuring US-based engineering and manufacturing with over 15 gigawatts deployed globally.
