Fanuc (TYO:6954) net income attributable to owners of parent expanded 35% to 51 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 from 37.8 billion yen a year earlier.
The industrial robot manufacturer's net income per share rose to 54.63 yen from 40.56 yen a year ago, according to a Friday Japan Exchange filing.
Net sales increased 18% to 231 billion yen from 196.4 billion yen a year earlier.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, FANUC projects net income attributable to owners of parent of 198 billion yen, or 212.18 yen per share, with net sales of 948.1 billion yen.
The company said it has not changed its dividend forecast and will disclose its second-quarter and year-end dividends for fiscal 2026 later.
