ExaWizards to Consolidate Nursing Care AI Business Under ExaMD

By

ExaWizards (TYO:4259) will reorganize its nursing care AI business by consolidating its CareWiz product portfolio under wholly owned subsidiary ExaMD through an intra-group merger and company split, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The restructuring aims to centralize healthcare and nursing care AI operations, streamline development and sales functions, and improve management resource allocation across the group.

As part of the transaction, Exa HomeCare will merge into ExaMD effective July 1, with ExaMD surviving the merger and absorbing CareWiz toruto, Exa HomeCare's flagship nursing care product.

ExaWizards will also transfer CareWiz takusuto and CareWiz BCP to ExaMD through an absorption-type company split scheduled for July 1.

The company said integrating the products under ExaMD will strengthen its AI transformation initiatives across healthcare and nursing care while improving operational agility and profitability by eliminating overlapping functions.
