Evergreen Max Cash Capital (KLSE:EMCC) plans to transfer the listing of its entire issued share capital from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities after meeting the required criteria for listing and profitability, according to a Bursa filing on Friday.
The gold retailer and pawning services provider said it met all the listing requirements laid down by the Securities Commission Malaysia for the transfer of shares.
The proposed transfer is not expected to have any effect on the issued share capital and substantial shareholders' stake in the company as well as the net assets, gearing, earnings, and earnings per share of EMCC Group.
"The board believes that the proposed transfer will enhance the company's credibility and reputation, and accord EMCC greater recognition and appeal amongst investors, in particular, institutional investors," it said.
UOBKH has been appointed as the principal adviser to the company for the proposed transfer.
The company's shares were up over 1% in Monday's trade.
