The European Commission imposed anti-dumping duties on tires for cars and light lorries from China, according to a Thursday press release from the EC.
The duties range from 4.3% to 45.3%.
The scope of the products included a large variety of types and sizes of pneumatic, rubber tires with a load index below 121.
The duties aim to protect the EU's tire industry, the EC said.
In 2024, China's imports accounted for 28% of the bloc's market share.
Another anti-subsidy investigation covering the same product scope is currently being conducted and will be concluded in December.
