Xi'an Eswin Materials Technology (SHA:688783) said production and sales of its 12-inch electronic-grade silicon wafers exceeded 1 million units in June, marking a record high, according to a Shanghai bourse filing Wednesday.
The milestone follows the completion of the main structure of its newly built Wuhan plant in May. The facility is expected to begin operations in the first half of 2027.
The company expects total production capacity to exceed 1.8 million wafers per month once all three of its manufacturing plants are fully operational.
