EPack Prefab Technologies Bags New Order Worth INR1.65 Billion

EPack Prefab Technologies (NSE:EPACKPEB, BOM:544540) has secured a purchase order worth 1.65 billion Indian rupees from an undisclosed client for pre-engineered building works, according to a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Tuesday.

The contract covers the design, fabrication, manufacturing, and supply of cells and modules, including their erection.

The project is expected to be completed in four months.

AMTD Idea's Units Complete $30 Million Acquisition of London Hotel

AMTD Idea's (SGX:HKB) subsidiaries, AMTD Digital and The Generation Essentials Group, completed the acquisition of a hotel in London, named Dao by Dorsett Hornsey Hotel, for $30 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The hotel, which comprises 68 services apartments and hotel rooms, will be renamed AMTD Dao by Dorsett Hornsey.The hotel acquisition was closed without using external financing.

BHP Group Partners With Microsoft for Advanced Copper Extraction Technologies; Shares Hit All-Time High

BHP Group (ASX:BHP) said Wednesday it is using advanced computing in partnership with Microsoft and Prescience Insilico to discover advanced copper extraction technologies.The company said in a statement that, working with Microsoft, its team screened over 500,000 molecules that might help extract copper more efficiently using quantum chemistry calculations and simulations.The resulting candidate molecules are being tested against the realities of our ore bodies and operating constraints, said Jessica Farrell, vice president of innovation at BHP.BHP's shares rose past 2% in recent trading on Wednesday and earlier hit an all-time high.
