Enphase Energy's IQ Meter Collar Approved by 80 Utilities in US, Canada

Enphase Energy's (ENPH) IQ Meter Collar is now approved for installation by 80 utilities in the US and Canada, the company said Monday.

Hawaiian Electric has also approved initial pilot installations of the IQ Meter Collar, with full clearance and additional utility approvals expected soon, Enphase Energy said.

The IQ Meter Collar is a microgrid interconnection device designed to enable whole-home backup without the need to move circuits to a dedicated backup sub-panel or install additional consumption current transformers, according to the statement.
