Eni (E) and Senegal have signed a memorandum of understanding to assess the oil and gas potential of five offshore blocks, Senegal Energy Minister El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf said Tuesday.
The agreement covers blocks SN01M, SN02M, SN03M, SN07M and SN40M, Diouf said in a press release posted on social media platform X.
Under the agreement, Eni will finance and conduct geological and geophysical studies and technical analyses of the blocks, according to the statement.
