Energy Fuels' (UUUU) terbium oxide produced at the White Mesa Mill in Utah has been qualified for commercial use by one of Japan's largest rare earth permanent magnet manufacturers, the company said Wednesday.
The Japan-based manufacturer approved Energy Fuels' terbium oxide for commercial permanent magnet production after confirming it meets its specifications, the company said.
The qualification advances Energy Fuels' efforts to produce a full portfolio of rare earth oxides, following earlier qualifications for neodymium-praseodymium and dysprosium oxides.
