Energean (ENOG.L) said Wednesday that its attributable profit for the first half rose, while revenue fell year over year.
Profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was $159.6 million, compared with $110.5 million a year ago. EPS moved to $0.85 from $0.59.
The exploration and production company's revenue was $743.1 million, compared with $803.8 million previously.
Meanwhile, the board declared a second-quarter dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on Sept. 30. It paid $0.30 per share for the same quarter a year ago. This takes the total first-half dividend to $0.40 per share, down from $0.60 per share a year ago.
