Eneos Holdings Repurchases Shares Worth 2.42 Billion Yen in First 15 Days of September

Japanese oil explorer Eneos Holdings (TYO:5020) repurchased 1.78 million shares in the first 15 days of September for 2.42 billion yen, according to a Wednesday filing with the Japan bourse.

The share buyback was in accordance with the Board of Directors' Resolution on May 14, under which the company will repurchase 82 million shares for 50 billion yen, the filing said.

Shares of Eneos Holdings added 5% at market close.
