Encounter Resources Expands Niobium Mineralization at Western Australia Deposit

Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) expanded the high-grade niobium mineralization at the Emily deposit at the Aileron project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Multiple contiguous holes intersected high-grade niobium mineralization to the end of hole during air-core drilling, with results including 13 meters at 3.2% niobium pentoxide from 39 meters to the end of hole and 15 meters at 2.4% niobium pentoxide from 44 meters to the end of hole, the filing said.

Additionally, infill drilling at the Green deposit revealed thick, high-grade niobium mineralization, supporting resource and development studies for potential starter pit areas, per the filing.

Shares fell 2% in midday trade Monday.

Xinyi Glass' Profit Climbs 17% in H1

Xinyi Glass (HKG:0868) recorded a 17% rise in attributable profit to 1.19 billion yuan for the first half of 2026 from 1.01 billion yuan a year prior.Earnings per share rose to 0.2672 yuan from 0.2325 previously, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.Revenue declined 3.1% to 9.52 billion yuan from 9.82 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a drop in the average selling prices of float glass products.The glass manufacturing company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.15 per share for the period, payable on or around Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 19.
