Eminence Capital Acquires Over 9% Stake in Canopy Skyfire

Eminence Capital Group (HKG:0770) has taken a 9.05% stake in Canopy Skyfire Group (HKG:8245) through a series of transactions, according to a Monday filing with the bourse.

Canopy shares were last down 2% in afternoon trading on Tuesday.

Eminence Capital Group paid HK$4.8 million for 26.2 million Canopy shares, which makes baby monitors and walkie‑talkies, via three open‑market purchases in 2025.

Eminence added that it has implemented measures to maintain listing compliance after failing to disclose the purchases on time due to an internal control lapse.
