Emerson to Open Automation Service Center in Qatar

Emerson (EMR) said Monday it plans to open an automation services and operations center in the Umm Alhoul Free Zone in Qatar.

The 3,500-square-meter facility will boost support for clients in the Middle East and Africa, and will have a flow calibration lab as well as other automation technologies, the company said.

The facility is expected to open in phases, with the control systems staging and measurement services, spares inventory and training center to open in December, and the flow calibration lab to open in early 2027, Emerson said.
