Emerald Resources Says Extensional Drilling at Cambodia Gold Mine Continues to Deliver Gold Mineralization, Shares Jump 5%

Emerald Resources (ASX:EMR) said underground and open-pit extensional drilling at the Okvau gold mine in Cambodia continued to deliver significant gold mineralization during the June quarter, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 18 meters at 16.67 grams per tonne grade of gold from 535 meters, as well as four meters at 19.53 g/t grade of gold from 529 meters.

Near-mine resource and ore delineation drilling at the Okvau North prospect returned high-grade intercepts including 12 meters at 12.96 g/t grade of gold from 18 meters.

Drilling at the Dingo Range project in Western Australia targeted resource infill, open pit extensions, and underground development potential at the Boundary and Great Northern deposits during the quarter, returning high-grade mineralization.

Its shares jumped 5% in recent trading on Monday.
