Emami's (NSE:EMAMILTD, BOM:531162) consolidated attributable profit declined to 1.43 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 1.62 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share contracted to 3.28 rupees from 3.72 rupees a year earlier, the personal care products company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also fell to 9.25 billion rupees from 9.63 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's shares were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
