Elixir Energy Completes Stimulation Activities at Queensland Well Site

-- Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) completed stimulation activities at all target zones within the Diona-1 well site in the Surat-Bowen basin in Queensland, with equipment now demobilized, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

During the flowback period post-stimulation, the presence of gas was observed along with the return fluids.

Milling and completion operations are underway, after which the flow testing and pressure monitoring operations will begin.

Elixir holds 49% of the ATP2077 Diona sub-block joint venture, while Xstate Resources (ASX:XSR) holds a 51% stake.

Gateway Mining Intersects High-Grade Gold at Western Australia Project

Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) intersected high-grade gold mineralization from recent drilling at the Haflinger deposit of its Yandal gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.The results were up to 12 meters at 1.1 grams per tonne gold from 104 meters, and eight meters at 1.1 grams per tonne gold from 96 meters.The company said it remains well capitalized for its planned exploration for the year, with AU$15.7 million in cash and AU$5.6 million in liquid Australia-listed securities at the end of the March quarter.The company's shares fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
