Elin Electronics Reports Fire at Ghaziabad Plant in Uttar Pradesh, India

Elin Electronics (NSE:ELIN, BOM:543725) said a fire incident occurred at its manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on May 25, according to an Indian bourse filing on Tuesday.

The company said the fire was timely controlled and no casualties or injuries were reported. A portion of the affected area will remain temporarily shut, while operations at the rest of the plant continue, it added.

Shares of the company fell nearly 2% in recent trade.
