Elders Secures Final Approvals for Killara Feedlot Divestment

Elders (ASX:ELD) said it has received all regulatory approvals required for the sale of Killara Feedlot to Australian Meat Group, with completion of the transaction expected on June 30, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The transaction was approved to proceed after receiving a "no objection" notice from the Treasurer under the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1975 on Monday, following clearance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on May 22, the filing added.

The company's shares rose around 2% in recent Monday trade.
