Econpile (KLSE:ECONBHD) unit Econpile (M) bagged a 39.5 million ringgit subcontract from WCT Construction to undertake earthworks, bored piling and sub-structure works for a proposed commercial development in Kuala Lumpur.
The project consists of several commercial shop blocks comprising 68 units, two levels of sub-basement parking, and related facilities, according to a Wednesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Construction is scheduled for completion within 15 months.

United Microelectronics (TPE:2303) board approved an investment of up to NT$1.7 billion in private equity fund TGVest Asia Partners III (Taiwan), according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.The investment will be made through capital contributions based on capital call notices under the fund's limited partnership agreement.The funds will be used as a long-term investment, it said.
