Eclipse Metals (ASX:EPM) agreed to a strategic 17-hole diamond drilling program comprising 2,355 meters at its Ivigtut-Grønnedal project in Greenland, scheduled to commence in October, subject to final mobilization and regulatory requirements, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company said infill drilling will test selected areas of the 202 million tonne inferred resource for potential conversion to the higher-confidence indicated category, while step-out drilling will test extensions beyond the current resource limits.
The company's shares rose 13% in recent Monday trade.
