E. W. Scripps Appoints Dean Littleton as President of Media

E. W. Scripps (SSP) said Wednesday it promoted Dean Littleton to the newly created role of president of media, combining leadership of the company's enterprise television and broadcast operations.

Littleton previously served as the company's executive vice president of media broadcast operations and senior vice president of local media, according to a statement.

The organizational change unites the company's local and national television operations, expected to capture growth and efficiency opportunities, the company said.

The Nasdaq 100 rose 2%, the S&P 500 added 0.9%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.7%.Bitcoin rose 2.1% to $66,425, according to CoinMarketCap data.
