Dynatrace AI Positioning, Sales Execution Seen Supporting Growth, Oppenheimer Says

By

Dynatrace (DT) is being added to the analyst's top picks as the brokerage grows more constructive on the company's AI positioning, sales execution and prospects for revenue and ARR acceleration, Oppenheimer said in a Thursday note.

Oppenheimer said Dynatrace's enterprise customers are ramping AI production workloads, with more than 1,000 now monitoring AI and LLM workloads, while AI customer cohorts are growing 1.5 times faster than non-AI customers, supporting further expansion as adoption increases.

Meanwhile, the company's Arize acquisition adds about 200 basis points to annual recurring revenue growth and expands its AI observability platform, while logs consumption has reached an annualized rate of about $200 million, up from $100 million two quarters ago, according to the note.

Dynatrace's guidance assumes limited AI contribution, leaving potential upside from stronger sales execution and AI adoption, while DPS renewals could also drive net new ARR growth as the product enters its third year, Oppenheimer added.

Oppenheimer maintained its outperform rating on the stock while raising its price target to $71 from $60.

Dynatrace shares were up 1% in Thursday trading.
