Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (NSE:DRREDDY, BOM:500124) has signed a licensing pact with U.S. drugmaker Gilead Sciences for the once-a-year HIV prevention drug lenacapavir, the company confirmed in a Friday filing with the bourse.
The company disclosed the update after an Economic Times report on Thursday said the Indian pharma giant secured a royalty-free, non-exclusive, voluntary license for the HIV drug.
Shares are up roughly 2% in morning trading on the BSE and NSE.
