Downer EDI Buys Back Nearly 97,000 Ordinary Shares

Downer EDI (ASX:DOW, NZE:DOW) repurchased 96,547 ordinary shares on Thursday for AU$769,827 in total as part of an on-market buyback, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

The company plans to repurchase up to 33.6 million of its ordinary shares, the filing said.
