Doutor Nichires' Attributable Profit Jumps 31% in Fiscal Q1

Doutor Nichires' (TYO:3087) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 31% to 2.72 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter from 2.07 billion yen a year earlier.

The coffee processor and seller's basic earnings per share rose to 64.84 yen from 47.83 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Net sales rose 8.2% to 42.5 billion yen in the three months ended May 31 from 39.3 billion yen a year ago.

The company did not declare a dividend for the quarter.

The company expects to pay a year-end dividend of 30 yen per share for the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027.

For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects net sales of 166.5 billion yen, profit attributable to owners of the parent of 7.6 billion yen and basic earnings per share of 179.80 yen.
