Dongfeng Automobile (SHA:600006) expects its net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half to jump by between 23% and 34% to a range of 120 million yuan to 130 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The attributable profit a year earlier was 97.2 million yuan, or 0.0486 yuan per share.
The Chinese automobile maker attributed the forecast to the growth in the sales of new energy vehicles, which soared 100% year on year, and the sales of vehicles and engines.
