Domino's Pizza Enterprises' (ASX:DMP) cost orders made on Aug. 3 in the Gall class action have been stayed until the determination of its appeal, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The appeal relates to a court decision ordering the company to pay AU$11,869 plus interest to Riley Gall, a former Domino's delivery driver.
The Australian Federal Court ruled in July that the company misled franchisees by asking them to underpay thousands of delivery drivers and in-store staff under obsolete employment agreements that did not include key entitlements.
The financial impact of the class action remains uncertain and unquantifiable until the determination of the appeal, per the filing.
Domino's Pizza Enterprises shares fell 2% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
