DKME (KRX:015590) will continue to respond to a management right dispute with a creditor referred to as Kim, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The plaintiff originally filed a lawsuit with the Ulsan District Court in January, requesting that it hold the manager position at the energy, chemical equipment, and industrial machinery manufacturer.
The lawsuit seeks to prohibit acts by the debtors that would obstruct the creditor's performance of his duties as manager, with each violation resulting in a 10 million won fine.
The court rejected the request in July, and the plaintiff has since filed an immediate appeal.
In the creditor's appeal requests, the company said it will respond in line with legal procedures.
Shares of the company fell nearly 6% in recent trade.
